This is in reverence to God Almighty the Creator of Heaven and Earth. Abram (Abraham) knelt down before God as recorded in Genesis 17:3. Other instances are as referenced below;
Psalm 95:6 – O come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.
Isaiah 45:23 – By Myself I have sworn; truth has gone out from My mouth, a word that will not be revoked: Every knee will bow before Me, every tongue will confess allegiance.
Philippians 2:9-11 – Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above all names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father

Revelation 4:10 -11 – the twenty-four elders fall down before the One seated on the throne, and they worship Him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying: You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things; by Your will they exist, and came to be.
Revelation 19:4 – And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne, saying: “Amen, Hallelujah!”
Matthew 10:7-14 – And proclaim as you go, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’[a] 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying; give without pay. Acquire no gold or silver or copper for your belts, no bag for your journey, or two tunics[c] or sandals or a staff, for the laborer deserves his food. And whatever town or village you enter, find out who is worthy in it and stay there until you depart. As you enter the house, greet it. And if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it, but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town.
1st Corinthians 1-3 – Paul, called to be an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes, To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be his holy people, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ—their Lord and ours: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
John 20:21-22 – Again Jesus said to them, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent Me, so also I am sending you.” When He had said this, He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
There isn’t any difference between God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. They are one and our Lord Jesus Christ stated that clearly when He said, “I and my Father are one” (John 14:8-10). Remember, there are three that bear witness in Heaven and they are Father, Son and the Holy Spirit and they are one (1st John 5:5=10). Though it was God’s divine will to send His Son to die for the remission of man’s sins, however, it was disbelieving that propelled the Pharisees to lead the people against Jesus. As it is written in Hosea 4:6, my people perish for lack of knowledge. Having eyes yet cannot see and having ears yet they cannot hear (Mark 8:18). Howbeit, now the Holy Spirit have gradually exposed all hitherto hidden things to God’s children as promised and they are rejoicing in the Lord and it is marvelous in His eyes (Mark 12:11).
Our praying pattern goes thus;
Let thanks, praises and honor be ascribed to God in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Let thanks, praises and honor be ascribed to God in the Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Let dominion and supremacy be given to God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit now and forever more, Amen.
We pray to God Almighty through our Lord Jesus Christ because no one goes to the Father except through the Son. We know that the Father and the Son are one as it is written “If you see Me you see My Father, I and My Father are one” (John 10:29-30). Other verses are;
Matthew 6:5-8 – And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
Revelation 7:12 – Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!”
Revelation 4:6-11 – Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle. 8 Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come.” Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:
“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”
Philippians 4:6 – Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.
Revelation 21:4 – And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more.
The Sole Spiritual Head of the Universe revealed the type of songs pleasant and acceptable to God. Ever taken note of the phrases “New song in Revelation 14:3 and songs from the Spirit in Colossians 3:16. You must not make noise to be heard by God and you must know that the things of God are gentle an orderly. He created man in His likeness meaning to continue to be like Him (Matthew 5:45) and to be the first fruit in all humility and to praise Him day and night. Read the following supporting bible verses;
Amos 5:23 – Take away from Me the noise of your songs! I will not listen to the music of your harps.
Psalm 40:3 – He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him.

Revelation 14:3-4 – And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they remained virgins. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among mankind and offered as first fruits to God and the Lamb.
Firstly, we must note that the Holy Spirit is the Teacher as promised by our Lord Jesus Christ (John 16:13). This act of humility laced with immense blessings has been revealed by the Supernatural Teacher as correct and complete mode of worship which is in reverence to the Trinity God (The Father, Son and Holy Spirit). Knocking of the head on the ground is acknowledgement of man’s infallibility and reliance on God’s mercy and grace. It reveals God’s glory as recorded in Acts 7:49 ‘‘Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool. What kind of house will you build for Me, says the Lord, or where will My place of repose be?”
Below are supporting bible verses;
Psalm 66:4 – All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to you, they sing the praises of your name.”
Mark 5:6 – When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees in front of him.
Revelation 4:10-11 – the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. Revelation 19:4 – And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshiped God that sat on the throne, saying
John 16:13 – But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
Everything in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is done in consonance with the scriptures. The Father came to lay bare those things that were hitherto hidden (John 16:13) that man may receive salvation. White signifies purity. Its significance cannot be over emphasized in God’s plan and the bible is clear on the mode of dressing of the Redeemed being the Elects of God. The following bible verses corroborates these and it is important to adhere to the words of God and His plans.
Matthew 17:2 – There He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.
Luke 9:29 – As he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became as bright as a flash of lightning.

Revelation 3:4-5 – Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.
Revelation 3:18 – I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.

Revelation 19:14 – The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.
Walking barefoot is a highly spiritual practice and was observed by most of the prophets of old, during their encounter with God. The sanctity of God’s presence is awesome and must be honored. He is God Almighty the Creator of all things seen and unseen. He must be honored, praised and worshiped in all humility and with a pure heart because He desires such to worship Him. The following are bible portions backing the practice;
Acts 7:33 – But the lord said to him, “take off the sandals from your feet”, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.
Exodus 3:5 – Then He said, “Do not come near here; remove your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.”
2nd Samuel 15:30-31 – But David continued up the Mount of Olives, weeping as he went; his head was covered and he was barefoot. All the people with him covered their heads too and were weeping as they went up. Now David had been told, “Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom.” So David prayed, “Lord, turn Ahithophel’s counsel into foolishness.”
Joshua 5:15 – ‘And the captain of the LORD’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot: for the place whereon thou standest is Holy. And Joshua did so.’
Luke 22:35 – Then Jesus asked them, “When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?” “Nothing,” they answered.
Galatians 5:22-24 – But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Luke 10:4 – Carry no purse or bag or sandals. Do not greet anyone along the road.
