During the grand finale of the Holy Mother’s Glorification celebration 2016, the Holy Father His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu while giving His advise and blessing formally announced Imo state as the host state for BAYA 2017. The Father further stated that the Host State can only commence basic level of preparation while waiting for the new and remodeled action plan with a new organising committee which will be released in due course from the Father’s office. The Father also commended all previous organizers of the BAYA programme from commencement till date and also blessed them accordingly.
However, the Father appointed a new Leader Representative (LR) for Lagos state in the person of Bishop elect Wali Kinikanwo while the former LR, Bishop elect John Ekpo is now the new national LR of Gabon. In addition, the Holy Father also appointed a new International President for the Christ Natural Choristers Fellowship (CNCF) in the person of Christ Ambassador Mike Ntuk (a second term president) while the previous president, Bishop Ezemonye O. Mereji is now a Zonal Bishop in Lagos.
